[2038] Intoxication with birth (jātimada) and excessive conceit (atimānatā), greed (lobha), hatred (dosa), vanity (mada), and delusion (moha) — in whomever all these faults (aguṇā) are present, those here are the unvirtuous fields (khetta). Intoxication with birth and excessive conceit, greed, hatred, vanity, and delusion — in whomever all these faults are absent, those here are the thoroughly virtuous fields.
