All that men have well done bears fruit;
no deed (kamma) whatsoever is in vain.
I see Sambhūta, of great power,
arisen through the fruit of merit (puñña) by his own deed.

Could it be that for Citta too it is just so¹ —
that his heart's wish (mano) has prospered, even as mine?
