[2119] "That deer came both within my hand's grasp and into the snare of the trap; that king of deer was caught, and they who had gone free waited upon him. At that there arose in me a sense of urgency (saṃvega), astounding and hair-raising: 'If I should slay this deer, this very day I shall forfeit my life.'"
