[2192] Even if the wind could carry off a mountain,
if the moon and the sun should fall to the earth,
and all the rivers should flow back against the stream,
still I, O king, would not speak falsehood.
Though the sky should split apart, though the ocean should dry up,
though the earth, bearer of beings, bearer of treasure (bhūtadharā vasundharā), should roll up,
though Meru, that mountain of massed rock, should be torn up together with its roots,
still I, O king, would not speak falsehood.
