[2245] After a long time indeed we see a brahmin of godlike complexion,
with great matted locks, bearing his carrying-pole (khāri), his teeth begrimed, his head covered with dust.
After a long time indeed we see a sage (isi) who delights in the virtues of the Dhamma,
clad in ochre-dyed cloth, with a garment of bark-fibre (vākacīra) as his covering.
May the honorable one accept from us a seat, water, and oil for the feet (pajja);
we ask the honorable one regarding the gift of hospitality (aggha) — may the honorable one accept the gift of hospitality from us.
