[2249] He for whom, O king, there were companionship with death, and friendship with aging, O supreme hero among men, and he who might know, "Never at any time shall I die" — him might they behold for a hundred years in good health. Just as a man in the water propels a boat and brings it up to the shore, even so do sickness and aging constantly bring one into the power of Death, the Ender.
