[2303] And he, freed from the hand of the man-eater (porisāda), went, desirous of pleasures, to his own palace; having given the brahmin what he had pledged, he addressed his son Alīnasattu: "This very day have yourself consecrated in the kingship, and practice righteousness (dhamma) both in the realms and among the people; and let no unrighteousness be wrought in your realm— I go into the presence of the man-eater."
