[2310] Even as he was setting out, his father, learning of it, facing after him, paid homage with joined palms: "King Soma and King Varuṇa, Pajāpati, Candimā, and Sūriya (the Moon and the Sun) — guarded by these, given leave by the man-eater (purisādaka), return in safety, dear son."
