[2377] While I am given over to the delight of play, come under the sway of ruin, she begs wealth of me for her own children, though I ask nothing of her; and I, impassioned, give abundant wealth of every sort, both high and low. Having relinquished what is so hard to relinquish, afterwards I sorrow, dejected: for that fault I would give the queen (ubbarī) to the water demon (dakarakkhī).
