[2409] "Foremost among women is she, a lady of renown, calm and even-tempered, her power ablaze like fire. If you, O rakkhasa, should devour this maiden, your head would surely split into seven pieces. Do not torment her — release her, for she is a devoted wife (patibbatā)."
