[2493] Having clasped his feet and made a rightwise circuit (padakkhiṇa) round him, raising her joined palms (añjali) in reverence, she departed from that place. The couch that had been hers — golden, together with its conveyance, furnished with fifty breast-coverings and spread with a thousand cloths — mounting that very couch, she went into the presence of the devas. And as she came like a firebrand, blazing like a flash of lightning, the lord of devas (devinda), pleased, glad at heart, and delighted, granted her a boon.
