[2545] "This life, I think, is led onward — scanty, like water in the mud; when life is so very scanty, it is not the time to be heedless. This life, I think, is led onward — scanty, like water in the mud; when life is so very scanty, yet fools are heedless. They swell hell (niraya), the animal kingdom (tiracchānayoni), and the realm of hungry ghosts (pittivisaya); bound by the bond of craving (taṇhā), they swell the host of demons (asurakāya)."
