[812] "Truly, while I was ablaze like a fire sprinkled with ghee,
as though dousing it with water you have quenched all my anguish (dara).
Drawn out indeed is the dart (salla) of mine that was lodged in my heart —
you who, for me overcome with sorrow (soka), dispelled my sorrow for my son.
With the dart drawn out, I am free of sorrow, unclouded;
I do not sorrow, I do not weep, having heard you, O Vāsava."
