[1036] That Puṇṇaka, delighted in mind and elated, having gained Irandatī the nāga maiden, with a joyful heart, manifestly pleased, spoke thus to the foremost man of affairs among the Kurus: "You have made me possessed of a wife, and I, O Vidhura, shall do you a service: this jewel-treasure I give to you, and this very day I shall bring you to the Kurus."
