[1133] Having gone there, he said to those who were assembled there: "Where is King Vessantara? Where may we see the khattiya?" Those people who were assembled there said to him: "Brahmin, oppressed by you people through excessive giving, the khattiya, banished from his own realm, dwells on Mount Vaṅka. Brahmin, oppressed by you people through excessive giving, the khattiya, taking his children and wife, dwells on Mount Vaṅka."
