[1147] You do not come, sir, for the sake of merit (puñña), to see the Sivi king; I think you, sir, desire the king's wife, who is devoted to her husband. I think you want Kaṇhājinā as a slave-girl, and Jāli as a slave; or else you have come to take the three — mother and children — away from the forest. He has no possessions, brahmin — no wealth and no grain.
