[1194] These are those forest thickets, in bloom through every season, where formerly the children played — those children are not to be seen. These are those delightful lotus ponds, echoing with the calls of cakkavāka birds, covered over with maṇḍālaka plants and with lotuses (paduma) and water lilies (uppala), where formerly the children played — those children are not to be seen.
