[1248] "Even those heirs of the foremost of the Sivis, their hearts' longing yet unfulfilled — Jāli and Kaṇhājinā, the two of them — have fallen under the power of a brahmin, an impetuous and cruel man, who beats them like cattle. If you know those children of the princess, declare it; find out about them for us swiftly, as [one hastens to treat] a youth bitten by a snake."
