[1266] In all that forest, as many beasts as were there — through the power of Vessantara they did not harm one another. In all that forest, as many birds as were there — through the power of Vessantara they did not harm one another. In all that forest, as many beasts as were there — they gathered together in one place when Vessantara, who fostered the growth of the realm of the Sivis, set forth.
