[138] "Within your honor's own realm and dominion there is a hermitage in the forest; my father and the mother who bore me both dwell in that hermitage. I do not obtain the chance to make merit (puñña) toward them, my first teachers (pubbācariyā); having made your honor my advocate, let us beg Soṇa for pardon (saṃvara)."
