Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (2) · Vol. 28 · Section 144

[144] I, great king, am Soṇa, an ascetic (tāpasa) steadfast in his vows; night and day, unwearied, I support my mother and father. Gathering fruit of the forest and roots, O lord of the directions, I nourish my mother and father, recollecting what they once did.
