Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (2) · Vol. 28 · Section 260

[260] "Surely indeed you desire my welfare, in that you admonish me; I shall do just so — all that has been spoken by you who seek my good. This very day I desist; never would I do any evil; nor is there anything of mine that may not be given; nor, without having given, will I drink water. And as I give thus at all times, O Vāsava, even my riches will be exhausted; then, O Sakka, I shall go forth, abandoning sensual pleasures (kāma) just as they stand."
