Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (2) · Vol. 28 · Section 436

[436] "The elephant corps, the chariot corps, the horses, the infantry, and the shield-bearers, and delightful dwellings — these, my son, I give to you. The harem too I give you, adorned with every ornament; attend to them, my son — you shall be our king. Four women, skilled in dance and song and well trained, will make you delight in sensual pleasures; what will you do in the forest? I shall bring you maidens, adorned, from rival kings; when you have begotten sons upon them, then afterwards you shall go forth. Young you are and tender, a stripling in the very first stage of life; rule the kingdom, dear one — what will you do in the forest?"
