[471] "All the people are sorely distressed, (crying,) 'The King has gone forth (pabbajito)!' — the elephant riders, the royal guards (anīkaṭṭhā), the charioteers, and the foot soldiers. Having reassured the populace, having set protection in place, having established your son in the kingship, then afterwards you shall go forth."
