[635] "This is a feat surpassing human power (atītaṃ mānusaṃ kammaṃ), hard to do, hard to accomplish; I am not able to set you free — know this, O warrior-ruler (khattiya). There are elephants (nāgā) that course through the air, possessed of psychic power (iddhi), illustrious; even they would carry away one to whom such creatures belong. There are horses that course through the air, possessed of psychic power, illustrious; even they would carry away one to whom such creatures belong. There are birds that course through the air, possessed of psychic power, illustrious; even they would carry away one to whom such creatures belong. There are yakkhas that course through the air, possessed of psychic power, illustrious; even they would carry away one to whom such beings belong. This is a feat surpassing human power, hard to do, hard to accomplish; I am not able to set you free through the air, O warrior-ruler."
