Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (2) · Vol. 28 · Section 785

[785] "My elephants too — Abhayaṅkara, Nāḷāgiri, and Accuggata (Varuṇadanta) — bring them quickly; they shall serve for the sacrifice. My horse-treasures (assaratana) too — Kesī, Surāmukha, Puṇṇaka, and Vinataka — bring them quickly; they shall serve for the sacrifice. My bulls too, leaders of the herd — Anoja, Nisabha, and Gavampati — bring these also to me; let them set everything before me: I will offer the sacrifice (yañña), I will give gifts. Make everything ready; the sacrifice shall be when the sun has risen. Give the order to the princes — Canda and the rest — let them take their delight this night. Set everything in place; the sacrifice shall be when the sun has risen. Tell the princes now: today indeed is the last night."
