[886] Tall as the crests of clouds are the trees, covered over with sword-leaves — sharp, wrought of iron, drinkers of men's blood. As he climbs that sword-leaf tree, being cut by the sharp swords, his body slashed all over, streaming with blood — who could press him for the thousand in the world beyond?
