Mahānāradakassapajātaka

Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (2) · Vol. 28 · Section 892

[892] Alāta was Devadatta; Sunāma was Bhaddaji; Vijaya was Sāriputta; Moggallāna was Vījaka. Sunakkhatta, son of the Licchavis, was Guṇa the naked ascetic (acelaka); Ānanda was that Rucā who inspired the king with confidence. Uruvelakassapa was at that time the king of evil view (pāpadiṭṭhi); the Great Brahmā (Mahābrahmā) was the Bodhisatta — thus should you remember the birth-story (jātaka). The Mahānāradakassapa Jātaka, the Eighth. ___________________ 9. The Vidhura Jātaka
