[907] Then Varuṇa the nāga, coming forth from his dwelling, addressed Puṇṇaka and spoke these words: "Not by wealth nor by riches can our Irandatī be won. If you, having righteously obtained the heart of the sage, bring it here, by that treasure the maiden may be won; we desire no other wealth beyond it."
