[937] They entered, drunk with the intoxication of dice — the King of the Kurus and Puṇṇaka the yakkha. The king, even as he chose, took up the losing throw (kali); the yakkha named Puṇṇaka took up the winning throw (kaṭa). When the two of them had come together there at the dice, in the presence of the kings and in the midst of the companions, the yakkha defeated that foremost of heroic men, and there a tumultuous uproar arose.
