[948] O Vidhura, for a householder dwelling in his own home, how might his way of living be secure? How, indeed, might he give aid and support (saṅgaha)? How might he have freedom from affliction (abyāpajjha)? And how might a young man (māṇava) be a speaker of truth? Having passed from this world to the world beyond, how does he not sorrow?
