[105] **"For one involved incurs description regarding dhammas" (upayo hi dhammesu upeti vādaṃ):** "Involved" (upaya): there are two involvements (upaya): the involvement through craving (taṇhūpaya) and the involvement through views (diṭṭhūpaya) … This is the involvement through craving … This is the involvement through views. For him the involvement through craving is unabandoned, the involvement through views unrelinquished. Because the involvement through craving is unabandoned, because the involvement through views is unrelinquished, he incurs description regarding dhammas: as "lustful," or "hostile," or "deluded," or "bound," or "misapprehending," or "gone to distraction," or "gone to indecision," or "become entrenched." Those volitional formations (abhisaṅkhāra) are unabandoned; because the volitional formations are unabandoned, he incurs description in terms of destination: as "a hell-being," or "one in the animal realm," or "one in the realm of hungry ghosts," or "a human," or "a deva," or "one having form," or "one formless," or "percipient," or "non-percipient," or "neither percipient nor non-percipient." He incurs that description, comes to it, grasps it, misapprehends it, adheres to it. Hence: "For one involved incurs description regarding dhammas."
