[347] **Asking again and again in dependence on views** (*diṭṭhīsu nissāya anupucchamāno*): the brahmin Māgandiya, relying on a view (diṭṭhi), asks about a view; relying on an attachment (laggana), he asks about an attachment; relying on a bond (bandhana), he asks about a bond; relying on an impediment (palibodha), he asks about an impediment. **Asking again and again**: he asks repeatedly. Hence, "asking again and again in dependence on views." **Māgandiya**: the Blessed One addresses that brahmin by name. **Blessed One** (Bhagavā): this is a term of reverence … this term "Bhagavā" is a designation based on realization (sacchikā paññatti). Hence, "'Māgandiya,' said the Blessed One."
