[451] (The Buddha-created image asked:) "From what source do dear things (piyā) in the world arise? And the forms of greed (lobhā) that roam about in the world— from what source do hope (āsā) and its fulfillment (niṭṭhā) arise, which a person has with regard to the life to come (samparāya)?"
