[490] **"When what has disappeared do contacts (phassa) not touch?"** — when what has disappeared, has been made to disappear, has been passed beyond, fully surmounted, and transcended, do contacts not touch? — thus, "when what has disappeared do contacts not touch."
Therefore that mentally created Buddha (nimmita) said:
"From what does contact in the world have its source (nidāna)?
And possessions (pariggaha) — sprung from what?
When what does not exist is there no sense of 'mine' (mamatta)?
When what has disappeared do contacts not touch?"
