[500] **"'That we would know' — thus was my mind (mano)":** In "that we would know": we would know that, understand it, cognize it, discern it, penetrate it — therefore, "that we would know." **"Thus was my mind":** thus was my mind (citta), thus was my thought (saṅkappa), thus was my consciousness (viññāṇa) — therefore, "that we would know: thus was my mind." Hence that created one (nimmita) said:
For one attained to what does form vanish?
And how do pleasure and pain (sukha, dukkha) also vanish?
Declare this to me — in what way it vanishes;
"That we would know" — thus was my mind.
