[555] **Why indeed do they speak of truths as diverse?** "Why": why, for what reason, for what cause, from what condition, from what source do they speak of truths (sacca) as diverse — speak of them as various, speak of them as different from one another, speak of them as manifold; tell them, declare them, explain them, express them? Thus: "Why indeed do they speak of truths as diverse?"
