[561] **Apart from perception, permanent in the world** (aññatra saññāya niccāni loke): apart from the grasping of permanence through perception (saññā), only one truth is spoken of, declared, explained, and expressed in the world — the cessation of suffering (dukkha), Nibbāna, that is, the stilling of all volitional formations, the relinquishment of all acquisitions (upadhi), the destruction of craving (taṇhā), dispassion, cessation, Nibbāna. Or else, one truth is said to be the truth of the path (magga), the truth of emancipation, the way of practice leading to the cessation of suffering, the noble eightfold path, namely: right view … right concentration (samādhi). Thus, "apart from perception, permanent in the world."
