[71] **Some, indeed, with corrupt minds do speak in blame:** those adherents of other sects (titthiyā) have corrupt minds, depraved minds, hostile minds, opposed minds, minds that are struck, minds that strike back, minds bearing malice, minds bearing counter-malice; they speak in blame of, they revile, the Blessed One and the Saṅgha of bhikkhus with what is untrue. Hence: "Some, indeed, with corrupt minds do speak in blame."
