[14] As to the phrase "And when she is still remaining," and so forth: "Remaining" (ṭhitā) is said of one who remains in her own status (saliṅga). "Deceased" (cutā) is said of one who has died. "Expelled" (nāsitā) means she has either disrobed of her own accord or been expelled by others. "Gone over" (avasaṭā) is said of one who has gone over to the fold of the sectarians (titthāyatana).
