Sekhiyakaṇḍa

[496] "One should dress evenly all around (parimaṇḍalaṃ nivāsetabbaṃ)": that is, for one covering the circle of the navel and the circles of the knees. Whatever bhikkhunī, out of disrespect, dresses letting [the lower robe] hang down in front or behind, incurs an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa). [Note 1: The Burmese and European editions read "olambentā"; it appears thus in the same way throughout.]
