[501] There is no offense (anāpatti): if it is unintentional; if she is unmindful; if she does not know; if she is ill; if, it having been done on dry land, water spreads over it; in emergencies; if she is insane; if she is deranged in mind; if she is racked by pain (vedanā); if she is the first offender (ādikammikā).
