[106] **"Who here has passed beyond the seamstress?"** — Who has passed beyond (accagā), gone beyond, transcended, fully transcended, surmounted the seamstress (sibbanī), that is, craving (taṇhā)? Therefore, "Who here has passed beyond the seamstress?"
Hence that brahmin said:
> Who here is contented in the world? (thus asked the venerable Tissametteyya)
> For whom are there no perturbations?
> Who, having directly known both ends,
> does not cling in the middle, through wisdom (mantā)?
> Whom do you declare a great man (mahāpurisa)?
> Who here has passed beyond the seamstress?
