[111] **For him there are no perturbations (tassa no santi iñjitā)**: "For him (tassa)" means for the Arahant whose taints (āsava) are destroyed. **Perturbations (iñjitā)**: perturbation due to craving (taṇhā), perturbation due to view, perturbation due to conceit, perturbation due to defilements, perturbation due to kamma. For him these perturbations do not exist, they are not, they are not found, they are not obtained; they are abandoned, cut off, stilled, tranquilized, incapable of arising again, burned by the fire of knowledge (ñāṇa). Hence, "for him there are no perturbations."
