[193] **"May the Blessed One instruct me unremittingly" (appeva maṃ bhagavā aṭṭhitaṃ ovadeyya)** means: may the Blessed One instruct me unremittingly — may he instruct me carefully, may he instruct me continually, may he instruct me again and again, may he admonish me. Hence, "may the Blessed One instruct me unremittingly."
Therefore that brahmin said:
Surely they too would abandon suffering (dukkha),
those whom you, O sage (muni), would instruct unremittingly.
Having come into your presence, I pay homage to you, the nāga —
may the Blessed One instruct me unremittingly.
