[352] **"In whom sensual pleasures do not dwell" (yasmiṃ kāmā na vasanti):** "In whom" — in the Arahant whose taints (āsava) are destroyed (khīṇāsava). "Sensual pleasures" (kāmā): by way of summary, there are two kinds of sensual pleasure: objective sensuality (vatthukāma) and subjective sensuality (kilesakāma) … These are called objective sensuality … These are called subjective sensuality. "Do not dwell": in whom sensual pleasures do not dwell, do not dwell together, do not abide — thus, "in whom sensual pleasures do not dwell."
**"Todeyya," said the Blessed One:** "Todeyya" — the Blessed One addresses that brahmin by name. "Blessed One" (bhagavā): this is a term of reverence … a designation verified by realization (sacchikā paññatti), namely "Blessed One" — thus, "'Todeyya,' said the Blessed One."
