[447] **"With thought of the Dhamma running ahead" (dhammatakkapurejavaṃ):** thought of the Dhamma (dhammatakka) is called right thought (sammāsaṅkappa). That right thought is at the beginning, is in front, is the forerunner of liberation through final knowledge (aññāvimokkha) — thus, too, "with thought of the Dhamma running ahead." Or else, thought of the Dhamma is called right view (sammādiṭṭhi). That right view is at the beginning, is in front, is the forerunner of liberation through final knowledge — thus, too, "with thought of the Dhamma running ahead." Or else, thought of the Dhamma is called insight (vipassanā) in the preliminary stage of the four paths (magga). That insight is at the beginning, is in front, is the forerunner of liberation through final knowledge — thus, too, "with thought of the Dhamma running ahead."
