Udayamāṇavakapañhāniddesa

Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Cūḷaniddesa · Vol. 30 · Section 462

[462] **"We would hear that word of yours"** (taṃ suṇoma vaco tavāti): "that" — we would hear, learn, bear in mind, and discern your word (vacana), way of speech (byapatha), teaching (desanā), and its connected sequence (anusandhi). Thus: "we would hear that word of yours." Therefore that brahmin said: For one faring mindful (sata) in what way does consciousness (viññāṇa) cease? We have come to ask the Blessed One; we would hear that word of yours.
