[484] **Having known the origin of nothingness (ākiñcaññāsambhavaṃ ñatvā):** the volitional formation of kamma (kammābhisaṅkhāra) that leads to the base of nothingness (ākiñcaññāyatana) is called the origin of nothingness. Having known the volitional formation of kamma that leads to the base of nothingness as "the origin of nothingness," having known it as "a tie," having known it as "a bond," having known it as "an impediment (palibodha)" — having known it, weighed it, judged it, clarified it, and made it evident — thus, "having known the origin of nothingness."
