[508] "**Thus one might be a crosser over Death (maccu)**" means: thus you might cross over even Death (maccu), you might cross over even aging, you might cross over even death; you might cross beyond, pass beyond, and transcend them. Therefore it is said, "thus one might be a crosser over Death."
